Nestled in the Columbia-Tusculum neighborhoodAlms Park is one of the more secluded parks to have a picnic at in the city. There are two different overlooks at the park with some seating and grassy areas where you can easily enjoy a picnic with friends or family.

Ault Park

Known as one of the most peaceful and scenic parks in Cincinnati, Ault Park is one of the best places in the city to enjoy a picnic. There are several wide open green spaces where families and couples regularly have picnics or just hang out on blankets and read and talk.

Eden Park

Located between Mt. Adams and Walnut Hills, Eden Park is one of Cincinnati’s largest parks and also one of the best places in the city to enjoy a picnic. There are plenty of different places around the park where you can sit at a bench or spread a blanket out on the grass and enjoy some food and snacks.

Mount Storm Park

Located in Clifton, Mount Storm Park is a lesser known park that is rarely crowded because not many people know of it. It offers a small shelter area along with several tables and benches and plenty of wide open green space where you can have a picnic. It also offers some scenic views due to its location atop a large hill.

Sharon Woods

Located in Sharonville, Sharon Woods is another excellent spot to enjoy a picnic in Cincinnati. There are tons of shelter areas, green spaces, and family-sized benches scattered throughout the park where you can have a picnic.

Smale Riverfront Park

Another excellent place to have a picnic in Cincinnati is Smale Riverfront Park, a massive park located in Downtown Cincinnati along the Ohio River that offers several different spots where you can sit and enjoy food and drinks while taking in the view of the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky in the distance.

Stanley Rowe Arboretum

Last but not least, Stanley Rowe Arboretum is another peaceful spot to enjoy a picnic in the Queen City. Of all of the places mentioned in this article, this is probably the least well known because it’s located in a hidden drive that not many people are aware of. The arboretum itself is incredibly quiet and offers several different grassy areas where you can spread out a blanket and enjoy a picnic.
