Nestled in the heart of East Walnut Hills sits one of the most hip and dog-friendly breweries in Cincinnati: The Woodburn Brewery.
Since opening its doors in the summer of 2016, Woodburn has developed a reputation for offering a laid-back and aesthetically-pleasing place to enjoy a craft beer.
From its unique L-shaped layout to its fancy light fixtures to its variety of hanging plants along the walls, Woodburn offers a unique atmosphere to enjoy craft beers in.
They offer 24 different craft beers on tap, which includes a variety of flavors and styles including:
- Pale ales
- Sour beers
- Chocolate stouts
- Belgian Wheats
- Cedar IPAs
No matter what style of craft beer you’re interested in, the odds are good that Woodburn has something to offer you.
In terms of seating, there are plenty of small tables that can comfortably seat 2-4 people along with plenty of stools along the bar area and several long tables near the back of the brewery that can accommodate larger groups.
While Woodburn doesn’t offer any food options, there’s usually a food truck positioned right outside of the brewery on most days where you can order a variety of typical bar foods and snacks.
In this sense, Woodburn offers the best of both worlds by specializing in craft beers and allowing a professional food truck to serve a variety of food options.
Another feature that Woodburn is known for is its pet-friendly policy. The brewery welcomes any and all dogs, and on any given night you’ll typically spot at least a couple dogs roaming around inside.
During the warmer months there is also additional seating at an outdoor patio area located in the back of the brewery that offers a great place to enjoy a craft beer outside with some friends.

Sunday | 12PM – 11PM
Monday – Thursday | 4PM – 11PM
Friday – Saturday | 12PM – 12AM
The brewery offers a paid parking lot for $1 per hour and there is street parking out front as well.
