Known for their mostly American dishes, some of our favorite things to order here include their fried green tomatoes, shrimp & grits, and the double prime burger. They serve generous portions as well, so be prepared to leave with some of your meal in a to-go box.

Known for their rich and tasty Taiwanese food, Amerasia is another excellent restaurant in Covington that is highly regarded by locals. The atmosphere is laid back, the service is excellent, and the food is consistently delicious. Our favorite dishes here include the Mongolian beef and the house made soup.

Commonwealth Bistro

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy some Southern comfort food along with a wine or a cocktail, Commonwealth Bistro is the place for you. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is excellent. Our favorites here include the winter green ravioli and the hills farm chicken.

Located at Hotel Covington, Coppin’s is a spot that makes you feel like you’re in a much larger city like Chicago or Manhattan. Known for their mostly American dishes, this is one of the more upscale places to enjoy a dinner in Covington. Our favorite dish here is the pork burger.

If you’re looking to get some tacos in Covington, there’s no better place to do so than Agave & Rye. This hip restaurant serves a variety of tacos that can be enjoyed with delicious (and strong) margaritas in a cool atmosphere. They offer street tacos as well as “epic” tacos that are known for their huge portion sizes. The salsa and queso are also killer sides.

Known for their homemade sausages and craft beers, Wunderbar is the best place in Covington (heck, in the entire Cincinnati area) to enjoy some authenic German cuisine. The service is quick, the atmosphere is inviting, and they even have a back patio where you can enjoy some food and drinks during the warmer months. On weekends they often have live music and karaoke as well, which adds to the overall enchanting experience.

The Gruff

Known for their delicious pizzas, sandwiches, and craft beer, The Gruff is another wildly popular spot to get lunch or dinner in Covington. Our favorites here include any of the brick oven style pizzas along with the fried pork loin sandwich.

Bouquet

Bouquet is a casual bistro-style restaurant in Covington that offers one of the most eclectic menus you’re likely to come across anywhere. Their dishes include pork chop, short rib, maple leaf farm duck, braised carrots, a wagyu burger, and a variety of house salads. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting as well. The dishes can be a bit pricey, but most people find that the quality of the food and the service justifies the prices.

Libby’s Southern Comfort

Known for their delicious dishes and specialty cocktails, Libby’s Southern Comfort offers a menu filled with Southern comfort food including chicken, turkey, oysters, shrimp and grits, and frenched pork chop. Our personal favorite here is the fried chicken with biscuits and mac ‘n cheese on the side, but you can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu.
