It’s no secret that Cincinnati has an incredible skyline. Heck, Thrillist even ranked Cincinnati’s skyline in the top 10 of all U.S. cities and it’s easy to see why.
Situated along the Ohio River, Cincinnati has a variety of sports stadiums, riverfront parks, and high-rise buildings that bring the view of the downtown area to life. Plus, the natural hilly topography that the city rests on only adds to the views.
In this post, we share eight awesome spots where you can get a scenic view of the Queen City.
Map of Scenic Views
The map below shows the locations of the eight spots where you can get incredible scenic views of the city:
Alms Park
Address: 710 Tusculum Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226
Located atop Mt. Tusculum on the east side of Cincinnati, Alms Park offers some incredible views of the Ohio River, the Queen City, and the hills of northern Kentucky.
Bellevue Park
Address: Park Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45219
Located just a couple minutes from the University of Cincinnati sits Bellevue Park, a spot that offers some of the most scenic views of Cincinnati that you can find anywhere in the city.
Devou Park
Address: 1201 Park Dr, Covington, KY 41011
Next up is the only spot located in Kentucky on our list: Devou Park. Although the park is located across the river, it truly offers one of the most complete views of Cincinnati.
Eden Park
Address: 950 Eden Park Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45202
One of Cincinnati’s most well-known parks, Eden Park, offers some beautiful views of the Ohio River, Northern Kentucky, and various parts of Cincinnati.
Fairview Park
Address: 501 W McMillan St, Cincinnati, OH 45219
Another excellent place to get a view of the Queen City is atop Fairview Park. The park is basically one long winding road that offers a few different overlooks where you can stop, get out, and check out the views.
Larz Anderson Park
Address: 2905 Golden Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226
Arguably the least well-known place on this list, Larz Anderson Park, is another fantastic spot to get some views of Cincinnati. The park is nestled in a neighborhood in Columbia-Tusculum and can be a bit tricky to find if you’ve never been.
The good news for anyone who heads to this spot is that there is rarely anyone else in the park, which makes it an incredibly peaceful place to enjoy the scenic views.
Mt. Adams Steps
Address: 30 David Crowley Pl, Cincinnati, OH 45202
Another place to enjoy some scenic views is at the top of Mt. Adams Steps. The steps start at the riverfront and lead up to the neighborhood of Mt. Adams via a winding set of public stairs.
Once you reach the top, you’re rewarded with some incredible views of the city that you can enjoy from several public benches that are surrounded by some nice landscaping.
Mt. Echo Park
Address: 202 Crestline Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205
Last, but certainly not least, on our list of places to get a scenic view of Cincinnati is Mt. Echo Park. This park is the only one on our list located on the west side of Cincinnati, but it’s worth the drive.
The park offers some incredible views of the Ohio River, Northern Kentucky, and pretty much all of Cincinnati out in the distance. With the exception of Devou Park, this might be the best place to get a complete view of the city.
